Just A Little About Us
It is understandable that visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating, but we want you to know that you can relax at Friendship Baptist Church. We are a growing church both spiritually and numerically that has some imperfect people. However, we strive to navigate life centered around the Word of God growing closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus.
Each of our services includes straightforward, understandable, practical preaching. The Bible is taught and Jesus Christ is emphasized. You will enjoy the uplifting and dynamic music. You will be encouraged to find many others seeking to know God better, just like you!

We are one half mile East of the North end of US Hwy 54 bypass, 1000 feet West of State Road JJ and the Mexico Airport, directly across from Stacey's Place
What to Expect - All are Welcome!
Expect to be greeted by one of our friendly volunteers that will help you get to your destination. Each Sunday morning beginning at 9:30AM our church provides an opportunity to connect with fellow believers. Sunday School begins at 9:30am. Age appropriate Sunday School classes are available. Our morning worship service begins at 10:30AM and generally lasts an hour.
What to Wear?
We do not have a dress code at Friendship Baptist Church. Our desire is to make you our guests feel as comfortable as possible. You may notice that some our ministry leaders will dress in a more traditional “Sunday” dress. Regardless of what you wear, please know that you are welcomed at Friendship.
Where Do I Go?
After locating your parking spot, the sanctuary's entrance will guide you towards your destination. Our friendly volunteers will be there to welcome you and help you locate the nursery, children's classes, adult classes and the main worship service.
What if I’m not a Baptist?
What if I’m not a Baptist? You do not need to be a Baptist to attend our church. We desire to faithfully teach and preach the Word of God and point people to Christ.
What do I do during the offering?
NOTHING! As our guest please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering. Each week members and regular attendees of Friendship take part in our weekly offering as they are led. Our guests are not expected or encouraged to give during this time.
